A flat, wide, low disc of travertine pierced at its center by a small cylinder of walnut: the Sole saucer pendant light turns the stone into a thick crown, open in the middle to let the wood through and release the light downward.
The bulb, set beneath the wooden cylinder, sits slightly below the disc and casts a beam toward the floor. Pitted with small cavities and darker veins, the travertine catches the light along its edge and reflects it onto nearby surfaces, like a sunset held in stone.
At 21 cm (8.3 in) across and only 11 cm (4.3 in) high, it plays the horizontal card, well suited to limited ceiling heights or to highlighting a long table without blocking the view; the solid walnut brings a warm note against the pale mineral.
