A cylinder of raw travertine with thick, pitted walls passes through a wooden disc that reaches well beyond it like the brim of a hat: the Colophon travertine and wood pendant light rests the stone on a clean, almost flat horizontal line.
Switched on, the light escapes from the base of the cylinder and casts a round, concentrated halo onto the table or countertop, while the wooden disc stays in shadow. The light wood finish keeps the look airy next to the pale stone, while the dark wood finish contrasts more sharply for a graphic silhouette.
At 20 cm (7.9 in) across and 12 cm (4.7 in) high, it marks a clear point of light above a dining table, a work surface or an entry console, and builds a stronger rhythm in twos or threes over a long table or kitchen island.
