A large volume of woven rattan twists back on itself into an asymmetric, irregular ring, almost like a knot or an unfurled shell: the Triton twisted rattan pendant light breaks with the round, symmetrical shapes of classic fiber pendants.
The openwork mesh, dense in places and looser elsewhere, lets the bulb show through a web of irregular crosshatching. Once lit, it throws shifting shadows on the walls and ceiling, like reflections on water, while the opening in the weave reveals a brighter point of light at the heart of the form.
At 45 cm (17.7 in) across and 35 cm (13.8 in) tall, it can structure a whole room: alone above a dining table, a kitchen island or in a generous living room, eye-catching lit or unlit.
