A narrow tube of honey-toned natural marble, set top and bottom in two rings of brushed brass: the Gela marble and brass pendant light lets light pass through the stone along its full height, drawing pale ripples when it is on.
Lit, the column glows from within and the brass returns a warm reflection at each end. It is an accent light rather than general lighting. The veined marble is translucent enough to light right through, and because the stone is natural, every tube has its own veining.
One size, 6 cm (2.4 in) across and 30 cm (11.8 in) tall: a fine vertical line on either side of a headboard, above a console or along a hallway, or hung low over a kitchen island without blocking the view.
